Plain-language summary
Guvello is designed to work without a Guvello account. Your quiz answers, preferences, shortlist, swipe history, Skill DNA, test-drive progress and plans are saved locally on your device. Guvello does not operate an advertising tracker or analytics profile.
Information stored on your device
The app stores the choices and progress needed to personalise your experience. This information is not uploaded to a Guvello server and is not synced between devices. If you lose or replace the device, Guvello cannot recover that local progress.
Purchases
Guvello+ purchases and restores are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Guvello does not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple may process purchase information under its own privacy policy, and the App Store account used for the purchase controls the entitlement.
External sources
Some career and study screens link to external public information sources. When you choose to open one, that website's privacy practices apply. Guvello does not receive your browsing activity from those sites.
Clearing your information
You can clear locally saved progress from the app's Profile area. Deleting Guvello also removes its local app data, although an App Store purchase entitlement remains connected to the Apple account that bought it.
Children and young people
Guvello can be explored by people who have not started higher education or employment, but it is not presented as a child-directed service. Guvello does not knowingly collect personal information from children because it does not collect account or profile data on its servers.
